1) Please tell us about yourself.
Hello, my name is Steve Bevil and I am a fan of all things unexplained, particularly paranormal. My favorite shows right now are The Vampire Dairies, Supernatural, Scandal, Tru Blood, Teen Wolf, and Pretty Little Liars. I also love to watch movies about those same genres including ones that are good for a good fright, so I guess that’s why its reflected in my writing. The only odd ball out of the bunch is the television show Scandal, but thanks to my mom, I’ve grown up appreciating strong and independent women and that is reflected in my writing and taste as well.
2) Tell us about your book.
The Legend of the Firewalker! Well, I think you can find a little bit of all those shows mentioned above in the series, minus the wolves and the vampires. I would say its a good bet you will find strong female characters, paranormal mystery, unexplained deaths, strong friendships, budding romantic relationships, unexpected twists and turns, and a series you can escape to. And lets not forget a little comic relief and fright here and there!
3) What inspired you to write Legend of the Firewalker?
I know this may sound cliche, but I didn’t find the courage to write a story until I came across an article spotlighting author Stephenie Meyer. After reading her story, I had a daydream about one guy trying to teach another how to operate and co-exist in two worlds; the spirit world and the natural/physical world. It was more like an argument if you know the protagonist of the story Nathan Urye, but it ended up appearing mostly in chapters 11 and 16 of the book.
4) How many hours per week do you spend writing?
A lot! I love spending time with the characters in their small college town of Cahokia Falls, Illinois. I find it a good escape after I’ve caught up on all my favorite TV shows and movies. I guess it satisfies my appetite for more supernatural mystery.

5) If you could meet three authors, which authors would you choose?
Amanda Hockings, Rick Riordan, and Joanna Penn to say thank you for inspiring me as an author.

6) What are you working on at the moment?
Book two in The Legend of the Firewalker series. I have a working title, but I don’t want to reveal it yet. I am working with the same artist that did the artwork for the first book cover and the concept art looks amazing! I can’t wait to see the final product.
